Big congratulations to Steve and Dave who where third place in the Fishing 4 Mental Health Charity Event.
Aug 16th 2024. Part of their winnings was a day session at a newly created venue, Kev's Pool @ Fowler Fisheries. Check out the Video's YouTube of Benedict Fowler, he is living most of our dreams! He has just completed the build of a Carp lake in his back garden, all from scratch. Then going on to stock it with fish to over 30lb from VS Fisheries. It will be a Carp holiday destination complete with a supper modern accommodation cabin including hot tub!
Scobby Steve managed to wangle Two fish out , a Common at 17lb and a Mirror tipping in at just over 27lb!
Good Angling Steve, well done. Sadly his fishing partner, DJ Dave Martin failed to get one on the bank this time. But it was a great experience for the guys fishing an exclusive venue that's not even open to the public yet.

Steve did rather well at the Competition bagging £20 Cash for the Biggest Common Carp. A Winter membership to South Cerney Angling Club SCAC, thanks to Dan Garner SCAC, for the Biggest overall fish. £20 Gift Voucher for Angling Direct and a Day at Fowlers Fisheries for third place.
